Blue Flag marinas · Daily stewardship
A Blue Flag marina has to meet and maintain standards across environmental education, environmental management, safety, services and water quality.
The assessment matters. So does every ordinary day between assessments.
Floating litter, plastics, natural debris and surface pollution do not follow the inspection calendar. They arrive with the tide, weather, river flow and people.
NETZERO Alchemists helps marina teams intercept floating pollution and create a record of the environmental activity taking place.

The daily reality
A marina can be clean in the morning and have visible floating pollution gathering around pontoons, berths and sheltered corners later that day.
The pollution may have arrived from somewhere else. Once it becomes visible inside your marina, somebody still has to decide what happens next.
Maintaining standards depends on what happens between inspections, assessments and public events.
Continuous action
Aquapod is positioned at an identified accumulation point and designed to intercept floating litter, plastics, natural debris and minor surface films at the waterline.
Where a fixed installation cannot provide the whole response, Aquadrone can add mobile autonomous capability. Aquadrone is delivered in partnership with Maritime Robotics.
Clean Impact View records recovered material and the environmental activity taking place, helping marina teams understand and demonstrate the work being done.
Recovered material still needs a named responsible person, a safe lifting and handling method, an agreed inspection routine and an authorised destination.
Where we can support
Fixed collection where floating pollution repeatedly accumulates.

Explore Aquadrone→A record of recovered material and environmental activity.
Explore Clean Impact View→NETZERO Alchemists solutions can support day-to-day environmental management and evidence. They do not award, renew or guarantee Blue Flag status, replace required water-quality testing or demonstrate compliance with every Blue Flag criterion.
Visible water · Visible leadership
The condition of marina water is visible to berth holders, visitors, neighbouring communities and the people responsible for assessing standards.
Continuous stewardship is not simply about how the marina looks on assessment day. It is about the ordinary work that keeps environmental responsibility visible throughout the season.
Aquapod and Clean Impact View can help make part of that work continuous, practical and capable of being recorded.
Belfast Harbour Marina
Belfast Harbour Marina became the first marina in the UK to install Aquapod.
Belfast Harbour’s published account places the installation within its wider Blue Flag Marina accreditation work, environmental stewardship and operational decision-making.
The installation shows how practical pollution interception and recorded environmental activity can form part of a marina’s wider approach.

Your marina
Every marina is different. Pollution sources, accumulation points, water access, lifting arrangements, inspection routines and waste routes all shape the appropriate response.
If floating pollution keeps returning to the same part of your marina, show us what is happening. We can help you assess whether Aquapod, Clean Impact View, Aquadrone or a wider NETZERO Alchemists response is appropriate.
